True of ourselves as well. As we’ve been saying, we don’t want to be satisfied with staying in one place in regards to practicing the Golden Rule or improving our understanding of the Principle of Mutuality.
But neither do we want to discourage ourselves, or be disappointed in others, when we fail to live it perfectly.
After all, treating others as we want to be treated is the one thing that Confucius admitted that even he was unable to do consistently.
