Karen Armstrong Champions “Charter for Compassion”

In 2008, religious scholar and author Karen Armstrong won the Ted Prize, which is both a financial award and the opportunity to make a “wish that’s big enough to change the world.” Ms. Armstrong’s wish was for the creation of a Charter of Compassion.
